A shared mission requires clear boundaries.
DV-ISAC is operated by Operation Safe Escape. Its purpose is to support organizational safety and security through information sharing, practical guidance, and collaboration.
Membership review
OSE reviews requests before providing access. Membership is free. Applying does not automatically verify an organization or create an account.
Public and member information
Public pages, alerts, and resources can be viewed without membership. The member portal provides additional resources and collaboration spaces. Access to a private workspace is based on membership of that workspace and administrative permissions.
Membership in DV-ISAC does not grant access to another organization’s private spaces. Administrators may access data as necessary to operate, maintain, and support the service.
Share with care
- Use public forms only for general inquiries and membership requests.
- Do not submit survivor names, case details, confidential locations, passwords, or detailed security plans through public forms.
- Share only information you are entitled to share and follow your organization’s policies.
- Confirm the intended audience before posting information in a member space.
- Do not redistribute another member’s information without permission.
Limits of confidentiality
Restricted access is not a promise of absolute confidentiality, legal privilege, anonymity, or end-to-end encryption. Information may be accessed by authorized administrators and service providers as necessary to operate the service, or disclosed where required by law.
Guidance and responsibility
Security guidance supports informed decisions. Organizations remain responsible for reviewing, approving, and implementing their own plans, policies, and procedures. Tools and resources do not guarantee a particular safety or security outcome.
Urgent situations
Public forms and member discussions are not monitored continuously. Use your established emergency and incident-response procedures when immediate assistance is needed.
Sponsor independence
Sponsorship does not grant access to private member information or influence over security guidance.
